With over 25 years of medical experience, our founder is certified in Obesity Medicine and Psychiatry, as well as being an NCCA accredited Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach. In addition Dr. Homer is a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.
We do not limit our patients to the medications we sell. We treat with a broad range of anti-obesity medications including GLP-1s, Contrave, Phentermine, Topiramate, Qsymia, Orlistat, and Vyvanse. We treat with meds for depression, anxiety, and insomnia so that you feel better and can be more active. Treating depression and anxiety can also help diminish emotional eating.
We help you to lose weight without losing muscle mass (especially common on GLP-1s without appropriate supervision). With us you may end up being more fit, more active, and in the maintenance phase may be able to get off of weight loss medications, decrease their usage, or use less expensive ones.
Many people prematurely terminate treatment due to the expense. In some cases we may be able to accept insurance for ongoing treatment into the maintenance phase. Without the measures we take, if you are only treated with GLP-1s for weight loss it would be more likely that you will be on these very expensive medications, possibly indefinitely.
